Hardy Kiwi Vines

30.00

Hardy Kiwis are a smaller, smoother version of your grocery-store variety, that are about the size of a grape and can be grown easily in our area. You must have a male and female plant to produce fruit. Our set ($30) includes both. Does not yield fruit until year 2 or 3. In addition to producing fruit, kiwi vines are also a lush, visually appealing vine that can add a lot of interest to your yard or garden.

Directions: Plant both male and female vine close together (a few feet max) in a sunny area in your garden. Use stakes or trellises to start growing your vine upward. You can also plant vines at the posts of a pergola or fence. This variety will grow fast- 10-20 feet per year. Leave vines during winter and enjoy a yield after years 1 or 2. Purchase from boombox by the set in gallon-sized pots.
