Hamamelis virginiana

Also known as common witch hazel, hamamelis virginiana is a late fall blooming deciduous shrub native to the northeast US. From October-December, it blooms in fragrant, yellow flowers each with 4 ribbon shaped petals. Blooms after leaves drop off. Leaved turn from green to yellow in fall before flowering. Attracts birds. Native to the northeast US. Arrives to you in a 1 gallon pot, about 18-24”’ tall, as shown in photo 3. **PLEASE NOTE: All native shrubs and trees are 100% naturally field grown using minimal to no pesticides and are responsibly raised. Because of this, some items may show spotting or browning, which is natural for these sized trees during this time of year. All native trees and shrubs are guaranteed by us through spring of 2020.
